Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has said that his side were "perfect" in their 3-0 win over Juventus on Tuesday evening.
Two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and a third from Marcelo secured Madrid a solid win in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Ramos, who was booked and will miss the second leg, told reporters after the game that his side must remain focused for the return leg next week.
"We were impeccable," the defender said. "It was a very good result. Everything was perfect, and now, we have to finish the job at home.
"It was a great goal from Cristiano. He has won many awards and people have recognised him being at the top level for years. People have said that Cristiano is in a terrible state, well I hope he can stay there for the rest of the season.
"Looking at the result, maybe it's better that I miss the second leg. It's not so bad."I think this is the first time I've been hit with an elbow and shown a yellow card."
Real Madrid return to domestic action this weekend with a crunch derby clash with Atletico Madrid.
