Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema will reportedly be given every chance to prove his fitness for Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Atletico Madrid.
The Frenchman missed his side's 3-1 win over Malaga in the league at the weekend with a knee problem, but has not yet fully recovered from the blow.
Initial reports on Monday claimed that the striker would definitely miss out, but according to reports in Spain, Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to give Benzema every chance to recover and will therefore assess the 27-year-old on the morning of the match.
Real Madrid are already without Luka Modric and Gareth Bale for the second leg, which is delicately poised following a goalless draw in the reverse match last week.
