Former Real Madrid midfielder Clarence Seedorf has backed Jose Mourinho's side to win the Champions League this season.

The nine-time European champions have reached the quarter-finals of the competition following victory over Manchester United in the last-16.

"I think Real Madrid have a great chance of winning the Champions League," he told Marca.

"Hopefully they'll be a little bit more fortunate in the next draw, but they will still remain favourites for me."

Madrid have reached the Champions League semi-finals in each of the past two seasons.
