Jude Bellingham is back in training ahead of Real Madrid's opening Champions League game of the season against Stuttgart on Tuesday.
The England midfielder has missed the last four games with a muscular injury, and was also unavailable for selection for the Three Lions in the recent round of UEFA Nations League matches.
However, Bellingham has been pictured in training ahead of the visit of the Bundesliga runners-up this midweek in the opening matchday of the new league phase format in UEFA's top-tier competition.
Another very notable bit of team news is that Kylian Mbappe is set to make his Champions League debut for Los Blancos after his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain over the summer.
Mbappe already has a European goal for the club, after scoring in the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta, and he will be looking to add to his tally of 48 goals in the Champions League from his time at PSG and Monaco.
Coming into the side to flank Mbappe should be Rodrygo, who was left on the bench after returning from Brazil after the international break on Saturday.
However, the 23-year-old still played over an hour as he was forced to replace the injured Brahim Diaz midway through the first half against Real Sociedad.
With Real almost close to full strength again in attacking areas, Aurelien Tchouameni is also back in training after a foot injury saw him miss France's two fixtures during the break, and he could play some part deeper in midfield.
In the engine room, Carlo Ancelotti will not yet be able to call upon Eduardo Camavinga and Dani Ceballos though, with comebacks at the end of the month more likely for the duo, and their eventual returns will be most welcome to the manager, who could only name eight subs instead of 12, two of which were goalkeepers, in San Sebastian at the weekend, given Real's injury woes.
Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Eder Militao, Rudiger, Mendy; Valverde, Modric; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinicius Junior; Mbappe
