Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has been ruled out of tonight's Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Welsh international was expected to feature for Los Blancos, but he has not recovered from a calf problem in time.

Iker Casillas starts in goal for the hosts, while Xabi Alonso, Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are all included.

Atletico have made three changes as Arda Turan, Diego and Raul Garcia are all given the nod by manager Diego Simeone.
