Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Sergio Ramos will play in Saturday's El Clasico against Barcelona at the Bernabeu, despite carrying a shoulder injury.
The defender suffered the problem shortly after scoring in Madrid's 3-2 defeat to Sevilla prior to the international break.
Despite the injury, widespread reports have claimed that Ramos will take part in this weekend's highly-anticipated clash, and now Benitez has confirmed as much.
In today's press conference, the Spaniard told reporters: "Ramos will play the Clasico for sure. He's the captain and he will be there."
Karim Benzema has also been declared fit to play in the match.
