Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has said that the Catalan giants are feeling confident ahead of Sunday's El Clasico against bitter rivals Real Madrid.

Blaugrana have had their problems in the early stages of the 2021-22 campaign but will enter the clash with Los Blancos off the back of successive wins over Valencia and Dinamo Kiev.

Koeman, speaking during his pre-match press conference, is looking forward to the challenge of taking on Los Blancos, with Barcelona 'feeling good' due to their last two results.

"We have won our past two matches and feel good ahead of this big game," Koeman told reporters. "We're excited to play this game. I hope the stadium can be full or almost full and for there to be a good atmosphere.

"We know what we can do and we're playing at home, so I'm not scared. Both teams are playing for a lot. For us, we still remember what happened last year. But, many things can happen. This match will say a lot about the current state of form of both sides."

Barcelona are currently seventh in Spain's top flight, five points behind league leaders Real Sociedad and two behind third-placed Real Madrid.
