Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has called on his team to show "heart, character and attitude" in Saturday's El Clasico against Barcelona at Camp Nou.
Los Blancos will enter the La Liga clash trailing the league leaders by 10 points and looking to avenge the 4-0 defeat that they suffered in the reverse match earlier this season.
Ramos has also claimed that "these matches are decided by small details" as the Madrid giants look to end Barcelona's long unbeaten run, which currently stands at 39 games in all competitions.
"We want to do things right and it's easier when one puts in heart, character and attitude. A lot can happen because there is a referee and a great team opposite with players who can break away and make the difference," Ramos told Real Madrid's official television channel.
"We must try to defend well because these matches are decided by small details and often won by the team that makes fewer mistakes. Let's hope Real Madrid play a great game and get the victory.
"The team is fine. It's a week and a game about which a lot is said because we all know the great impact and importance of playing a Clasico, especially with what we have gone through this season."
Spain defender Ramos was sent home early from international duty with a back problem, but is expected to be fit for Saturday's clash after training with his club this week.
