France boss Laurent Blanc has insisted that Karim Benzema and Olivier Giroud can play in tandem at Euro 2012.
The two strikers enjoyed successful seasons with Real Madrid and Montpellier HSC respectively, and Blanc has hinted that he could pair them together in their tournament opener with England.
"Benzema and Giroud can play together. They are two interesting players but they are complementary - I'm convinced of that," Blanc told reporters.
"But there are choices to make, tactically in particular. It is necessary to think about the balance of the team."
Euro 2012 begins on June 8.
