Spain defender Raul Albiol has been ruled out of his side's Euro 2012 qualifier with Scotland on Tuesday evening.
The Real Madrid centre-back suffered a fractured cheekbone during a training session with the national team earlier today.
"[Albiol] has been given X-rays and a CT scan that have confirmed the existence of a small fracture without any displacement," the Spanish team doctor told AS.
The 26-year-old, who featured during Spain's 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic, has now returned to Madrid to receive further treatment.
