Jude Bellingham blow - Real Madrid injury and suspension news vs. Real Valladolid

:Headline: Jude Bellingham blow - Real Madrid injury and suspension news vs. Real Valladolid:
Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Real Valladolid.
Sports Mole

Reigning champions Real Madrid will be aiming to record their first victory of the 2024-25 La Liga campaign when they welcome Real Valladolid to Bernabeu on Sunday afternoon.

Los Blancos beat Atalanta BC 2-0 in the UEFA Super Cup on August 7, but they were held to a 1-1 draw by Mallorca in their opening league game of the new campaign last weekend.

Rodrygo sent the capital giants ahead in the 13th minute of the clash, but Vedat Muriqi levelled the scores early in the second period, and that was how it finished at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Real Valladolid, who recorded a 1-0 victory over Espanyol last time out.

Jude Bellingham

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: September 28 (vs. Atletico Madrid)

Bellingham suffered a leg injury during a training session ahead of the clash with Real Valladolid, and the England international is now expected to be on the sidelines for the next month.

David Alaba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Alaba suffered a serious knee injury towards the end of last year, which required an operation, and he then underwent further surgery in the middle of May. The centre-back could return to training in the next two weeks, though, and he could be back in action by the end of October.

Eduardo Camavinga

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: September 28 (vs. Atletico Madrid)

Camavinga suffered a knee injury during a challenge with teammate Aurelien Tchouameni in a training session ahead of the UEFA Super Cup. The midfielder will now be out of action until the end of September, potentially returning to action against Atletico Madrid.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Ferland Mendy

Status: Out
Possible return date: August 29 (vs. Las Palmas)

Real Madrid will be without the services of Mendy for Sunday's contest due to the red card that he was handed against Mallorca; the France international will be available again against Las Palmas on August 29.
