Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Real Sociedad.
Sports Mole

Real Madrid will be aiming to make it successive wins in La Liga when they continue their 2024-25 campaign with a clash against Real Sociedad on Saturday night.

Carlo Ancelotti's side recorded a 2-0 victory over Real Betis before the international break, with Kylian Mbappe netting a brace for the Spanish and European champions.

Los Blancos have only won two of their opening four league games of the season, though, with a total of eight points leaving them in second position in the table, four points behind the leaders Barcelona.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Real Sociedad, who have four points from their first four games of the campaign.

Jude Bellingham

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: September 14 (vs. Real Sociedad)

Bellingham suffered a muscular injury during a training session ahead of the clash with Real Valladolid last month, but he has stepped up his recovery over the international break and now has a strong chance of being in the squad against Real Sociedad on Saturday.

David Alaba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Alaba suffered an ACL injury towards the end of last year, which required an operation, and he then underwent further surgery in the middle of May. The centre-back is still some way off being available for selection, though, with the Austrian facing a battle to be back before the start of 2025.

Eduardo Camavinga

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: September 21 (vs. Espanyol)

Camavinga suffered a knee injury in a training session ahead of the UEFA Super Cup, and the France international will again miss out this weekend, but he should return before the end of the month.

Dani Ceballos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Ceballos picked up an ankle injury during Real Madrid's clash with Real Betis before the international break, and the midfielder could now be on the sidelines for the next three months.

Ferland Mendy

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Shin
Possible return date: September 14 (vs. Real Sociedad)

Mendy pulled out of the France squad during the recent international break due to a shin problem, but the left-back is expected to be available for selection this weekend.

Aurelien Tchouameni

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: September 14 (vs. Real Sociedad)

Tchouameni also pulled out of the France squad due to a foot injury, and the midfielder will need to be assessed before his availability for this match is determined.

Eder Militao

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: September 14 (vs. Real Sociedad)

Militao picked up a thigh problem in a Brazil training session over the international break, and he is a major doubt for Real Madrid's league contest with Real Sociedad.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Real Madrid have no players suspended for their clash with Real Sociedad.
