Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Celta Vigo.

Real Madrid will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins in La Liga when they head to Celta Vigo on Saturday night.

Carlo Ancelotti's side entered the October international break off the back of a 2-0 home success over Villarreal, with the result leaving them second in the La Liga table, three points behind leaders Barcelona.

Los Blancos will return to action against Celta this weekend before preparing for back-to-back fixtures against Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona in the Champions League and La Liga respectively.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Celta, who have picked up 13 points from their opening nine games of the season to sit in ninth.

Eder Militao

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 19 (vs. Celta Vigo)

Militao did not join up with the Brazil squad during the October international break due to a thigh issue, but the centre-back is already back in training and is set to be available for selection this weekend.

Dani Carvajal

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Real Madrid will be without the services of Carvajal for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign due to the severe knee injury that the right-back suffered in the clash with Villarreal last time out.

Vinicius Junior

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Neck
Possible return date: October 19 (vs. Celta Vigo)

Vinicius did not link up with the Brazil squad this month due to a neck injury which he suffered against Villarreal last time out, and the forward will need to be assessed before a decision is made on his involvement.

David Alaba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Alaba suffered an ACL injury last December, which has required two operations to fix; the defender has made progress in his recovery, but it is now thought to be highly unlikely that he will return before the end of the year.

Thibaut Courtois

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: October 19 (vs. Celta Vigo)

Real Madrid have recently been without the services of their number one goalkeeper Courtois due to a hip problem, but the Belgian has a chance of being back on the field against Celta.

Brahim Diaz

Status: Out
Type of injury: Abductor
Possible return date: Unknown

Real Madrid will again be missing Brahim this weekend due to the hip abductor injury that he suffered against Real Sociedad after the September international break.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Real Madrid have no players suspended for their clash with Celta.
