Eden Hazard has reportedly targeted Real Madrid's fixture with Villarreal for his first competitive outing at the club.
Having completed a big-money move from Chelsea earlier in the summer, Hazard had hoped to be available for the beginning of the new La Liga campaign.
However, a thigh injury sustained during the back end of pre-season kept him out of the 3-1 win over Celta Vigo, and it was initially expected that the Belgium international would not play before the international break.
That may now not be the case, with Marca claiming that Hazard could be available for the meeting with Villarreal on September 1.
The report adds that Real's medical staff have been left impressed by Hazard's progress since suffering the issue during a training session.
