Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Eduardo Camavinga and Eder Militao will both be available for Sunday night's Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona.

Camavinga was replaced at the interval of the semi-final with Valencia on Wednesday due to a knock, while a head injury forced Militao off in the 74th minute of the contest, which was decided by a penalty shootout.

However, Ancelotti has revealed that the duo will be able to feature in El Clasico.

"When we have injuries it worries us a bit, but besides the two who have stayed in Madrid, only Lucas Vazquez will not be able to play. The rest should be fine," the Italian told reporters during his pre-match press conference.

"Camavinga has recovered well and Militao trained without problems. It's hard to recover from extra time but we'll be fine for the game."

Vazquez suffered an ankle sprain during the semi-final with Valencia, and the Spaniard is now believed to be facing up to six weeks on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, neither David Alaba nor Aurelien Tchouameni made the trip to Saudi Arabia with Real Madrid due to calf injuries.

Alvaro Odriozola has also seemingly been declared fit for the final, with the Spaniard not on the bench against Valencia in the semi-finals due to a muscular issue.

"All titles are important to have confidence and have a good atmosphere in the locker room," said Ancelotti when asked about potentially winning the Spanish Super Cup.

"You have to do a lot of things right to beat FC Barcelona. It's not just thinking that intensity is the key. The key is to play a complete game in all aspects.

"There are things we have to improve in defence. The block against Valencia was good but we had a positional problem. Hopefully, it won't happen again.

"We have the same need to win as they (Barcelona) do. We fight every day to get to this moment and the team is motivated as always. They are comfortable and used to this kind of pressure and we are very confident."

Ancelotti has also hailed Karim Benzema, with the forward in strong form since the World Cup, scoring three times in his last two La Liga outings, in addition to netting against Valencia on Wednesday.

"Benzema is back. This gives us a lot of confidence for the next games. He is too important for us. The team has coped well with his absence and he's going to help us a lot now," said the Real Madrid boss.

Los Blancos will be back in Copa del Rey action against Villarreal on Thursday before visiting Athletic Bilbao and hosting Real Sociedad in their final two La Liga matches of the month. body check tags ::
