Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo will be fit to face Manchester City on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo missed his team's 3-2 win over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Saturday afternoon with a thigh problem, and it had been reported that the Portuguese would struggle to make the Champions League semi-final this week.
Zidane, however, has confirmed that his leading scorer will be fit to take to the field in the first leg of their last-four clash at the Etihad.
"[Ronaldo] is fit and will travel to Manchester," Zidane told reporters when questioned on the 31-year-old.
Ronaldo has scored 47 times in 44 appearances for Real Madrid this season, including 16 in the Champions League.
