Alaves vs. Cadiz (Saturday, 1.00pm)
Saturday's La Liga action kicks off with a relegation scrap between Alaves and Cadiz at the Estadio Mendizorroza.
Alaves, who have never beaten Cadiz in La Liga, could find themselves bottom of the division if they fail to pick up three points this weekend and other results go against them.
We say: Alaves 0-1 Cadiz
This is not exactly a game between two of La Liga's most prominent sides so do not expect a display of fine football. We think Cadiz will come out on top after a scrappy 90 minutes, but the margins will be fine.

Real Madrid vs. Elche (Saturday, 3.15pm)
La Liga champions Real Madrid will look to steal a march on league leaders Atletico Madrid when they host Elche at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on Saturday.
After an impressive win against Sevilla last time out, Elche find themselves outside of the relegation zone for the first time since December. Three points this weekend would contribute handsomely to their fight for survival.
We say: Real Madrid 0-1 Elche
OK, hear us out. Real Madrid have struggled at times this season against lesser opposition, having been undone by worse teams than Elche. Escriba's men are playing with their tails up at the moment and we think they might shock the champions this weekend.

Osasuna vs. Real Valladolid (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Osasuna will host Real Valladolid at El Sadar on Saturday afternoon in what will likely be a gritty encounter between two of La Liga's most industrious outfits.
Osasuna have found a hot vein of form in recent weeks, while Valladolid are also undergoing a bit of a renaissance as they continue to fight for their La Liga credentials.
We say: Osasuna 2-2 Real Valladolid
On paper, Osasuna are the more likely candidates for the win, but Valladolid are playing with a desperation that tends to make even the most unlikely outcomes possible. We think this one is destined to end in a stalemate.

Getafe vs. Atletico (Saturday, 8.00pm)
The last of Saturday's La Liga ties sees Getafe welcome city neighbours Atletico Madrid to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, a game that Getafe desperately need to win.
Atletico, who have won their last 13 league games against Getafe without conceding a goal, will be expecting to return to winning ways after their 1-1 draw with eternal rivals Real Madrid last time out.
We say: Getafe 1-2 Atletico Madrid
Getafe have been really poor on several occasions over the last few weeks, and we do not think they will find a way to turn things around against La Liga's top dogs. We reckon El Pistolero will collect his bounty once again this weekend.
