Gareth Bale has revealed that he is "feeling great" after making his return from injury in Real Madrid's 3-0 win over Celta Vigo on Monday evening.
The Welshman played for the final 30 minutes at the Bernabeu and set up Cristiano Ronaldo for the second of his two goals in the latter stages.
"My assist for Ronaldo? That's my job," he told Madrid's official website. "It was a tough match and the important thing is we got the three points. I'm very pleased that we've won our first game of 2014.
"We've had a good rest over the Christmas break and we are raring to go in 2014. We're really looking forward to it. I'm feeling great and I'm itching to play and help the team in 2014."
Bale has scored seven times in 11 La Liga games this season.
