Gareth Bale has insisted that Real Madrid will soon hit the goal trail, despite failing to find the back of the net in their La Liga opener at the weekend.
Rafael Benitez's first official game in charge of Los Blancos brought a 0-0 draw at Sporting Gijon, while goals were also hard to find during their pre-season preparations.
Bale, however, who played in the number 10 position on Sunday, is "100% sure" that the goals will soon arrive for the Spanish giants.
"We are getting better all the time. We're learning, training and improving. With each game that passes we are becoming an even stronger unit," he told reporters.
"Obviously we are going to be an attacking side. We need to improve at the back, but we're still working on being an exciting team, one that will be going out to win everything. We've only played the first Liga game of the season. We didn't score, but I'm 100% sure we'll get plenty of goals."
Real Madrid's next league match is at home to Real Betis on Saturday.
