Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that "everyone in the club", including president Florentino Perez, was "hurt" by Tuesday's loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Kylian Mbappe scored the only goal of the contest in the final exchanges, as PSG secured a 1-0 advantage in the first leg of their last-16 tie in the French capital.
There have been reports that Perez was furious with the team's performance against Mauricio Pochettino's side, with Ancelotti's job said to be under threat due to his approach to the match.
The Real Madrid boss has said that he was not pleased with the performance of his players but has insisted that the result "can be changed" in the second leg at Bernabeu.
"I have spoken with the president, with everyone in the club, and they are hurt just like we are," Ancelotti told reporters. "The [team's] image was not good. The least of our problems is the result because it can be changed, to tell the truth. What was worse was our display.
"The [criticism] out there is justified because we did things wrong, the first critic is myself and I take responsibility. You have to understand it and learn from it. Some [criticisms] are fair and others are nonsense."
Real Madrid will be looking to move seven points clear at the top of the La Liga table when they welcome Alaves to Bernabeu on Saturday night. body check tags ::
