Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao will endure a spell on the sidelines after suffering a groin injury in Portugal's 1-0 defeat to Russia on Friday.
The 24-year-old was forced off after 20 minutes as a result of the clash and he will undergo a scan on Monday.
According to Goal.com, the attacking left-back will not be fit for Portugal's clash with Northern Ireland on Tuesday.
Coentrao has 28 international caps to his name.
