Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has insisted that striker Antoine Griezmann will find form as the season goes on.
The Frenchman, who has appeared in all seven of Atletico's games this term, has only managed to score twice as the Spanish giants earned only five points from their first four league matches.
Simeone's side have since won three on the bounce, however, and the manager told Goal.com that Griezmann will also pick up in form in the coming weeks.
"The team is improving and, as a result, the individuals are improving too," the Argentine said. "It's very difficult for a player to be better when the team is not playing well. They have improved and, so, our key players are growing."
Ahead of this weekend's clash with rivals Real Madrid, Simeone added that Griezmann can have a significant impact for his side.
"It will be difficult for all of us to face Real Madrid, but I expect it to be a game which he can make more comfortable for us," the manager said.
Atletico currently sit two points adrift of top spot in La Liga.
