Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira could reportedly miss the next six weeks of the season after picking up a thigh injury.
Khedira is currently on international duty with Germany, but it is understood that the injury was suffered during the latter stages of Madrid's 4-2 defeat to Real Sociedad in La Liga at the weekend.
An MRI scan revealed the tear, which according to Marca could see the midfielder miss the next six weeks of the campaign.
As a result, Khedira will play no part in Wednesday's international friendly against Argentina in what is a re-run of the 2014 World Cup final.
The injury leaves Madrid short in midfield, with Xabi Alonso and Angel di Maria allowed to depart the Bernabeu this summer.
