Real Madrid forward Lucas Vazquez has said that the fans have a right to boo the team following another negative reception at the Santiago Bernabeu this afternoon.
Manager Rafael Benitez was booed both before and during his side's 3-1 victory over Real Sociedad, despite the result seeing Los Blancos temporarily return to the top of the table.
Vazquez, who scored the third goal for Madrid, defended the crowd's right to voice their opinion, but insisted that their job was simply to carry on winning games.
"The crowd have the right to applaud and to boo us. We just need to keep doing what we're doing and keep winning games," he told Canal+.
Madrid have now scored 21 goals in their last three home games in all competitions.
