Real Madrid defender Marcelo is confident that the Spanish outfit will enjoy "a very good" season.
Two defeats from 13 league matches have seen Madrid sit third in the La Liga table, but results and performances have improved in recent weeks.
The Brazilian left-back is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury, but is hopeful of returning to action after the international break.
"I am just thinking about my treatment and recovery. I'm dying to get back to playing and helping the team. I have my mind set on recovering and getting back to giving the fans something to cheer," he told the club's official website.
"When I arrived here it didn't occur to me what I had achieved. You think about what you want to succeed at in your life, to win everything. Now, being one of Real Madrid's captains is more than an honour, it is a tremendous responsibility and a lot of people and many children watch what we do and that is a great responsibility.
"Whenever we start a season we want to win everything that we are playing for and be very positive. Of course, we believe that this season will be a very good one."
Marcelo joined Madrid from Fluminense in 2006.
