Real Madrid playmaker Luka Modric has insisted that there is more to come from him this season.
The Croatian international has struggled to make an impact at the Santiago Bernabeu since his €37m (£30) move from Tottenham Hotspur over the summer.
"I have had a few good performances, if not in every game, but I believe I can prove I have something to offer," Modric told Sportske.
"It is very challenging to adapt to life at a big club like Madrid, but I'm not the kind of person to make excuses.
"This is Real Madrid and I understand there is great pressure for new signings to succeed here."
Modric has started just eight games for the La Liga champions during the current campaign.
