Valencia boss Nuno has lavished praise on goalkeeper Diego Alves, who starred in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Real Madrid.
The Brazilian saved a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty at the Bernabeu, in addition to making a number of excellent stops as Los Che dented Real Madrid's title hopes.
"I have the best goalkeeper in La Liga... Diego has something special. He's a very mature goalkeeper beyond his stops. His ability to stop penalties is all down to him," Nuno told reporters.
"He stops half of his penalties. It's not just about his stops, it's about what he represents for the team and the calm he transmits. We know how to defend and we rely on our great goalkeeper."
Valencia are currently fourth in La Liga on 73 points – three points clear of fifth-placed Sevilla with two fixtures remaining.
