Vinicius Junior has revealed his delight after making his Real Madrid debut in Tuesday night's International Champions Cup fixture with Manchester United.
Vinicius played over an hour for the European champions in Miami, but could not prevent his team from suffering a 2-1 defeat to the English giants.
Madrid agreed a deal to sign the Brazilian for £38m when he was just 16, but were unable to complete the transfer until the youngster turned 18.
"I am extremely happy to wear this shirt for the first time, irrespective of the result," Vinicius told Marca. "I have settled into the squad very quickly and everybody is very helpful, I am very appreciative."
Vinicius, who is also expected to be involved against Juventus this weekend, scored 14 times in 69 senior appearances for Flamengo ahead of a move to the Bernabeu.
