Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has backed Borja Mayoral to make an impact for the first team in the coming weeks.
The 18-year-old, who has scored 13 times in 28 games for Real Madrid Castilla this season, has been included in the first-team squad for Saturday's La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid.
The teenage forward made his league debut for Los Blancos earlier this season against Las Palmas, and Zidane is confident that the Spaniard is ready to play for the senior side.
"[Borja] Mayoral will be in the squad. He has played for our youth teams and Castilla and is training very well. He's ready to play with [the first team]," Zidane told reporters.
Mayoral, who joined Real Madrid in 2007, has also scored once in two appearances for Spain's Under-21 team.
