Zinedine Zidane has claimed that former club Real Madrid are as good as Barcelona.
Madrid, who are currently three points clear at the top of the La Liga table, hope to stop Barca winning their fourth consecutive league title this term.
"The gap between Madrid and Barcelona has been cut. There is a big difference compared to last season," Zidane told Canal Plus.
"I think we are at the same level, if not better, than Barcelona."
The 39-year-old is currently the Director of Football at the Sanitago Bernabeu.
