Zinedine Zidane has hailed Real Madrid's "spectacular" second-half performance in their 5-3 win at Real Betis on Sunday night.
Los Blancos were 2-1 down at the break but rallied round with four goals after the restart to secure victory in a thrilling encounter between two attacking sides.
Zidane praised his players for showing "character" despite being behind at half time and paid tribute to Asensio and Lucas Vazquez for their performances.
"I am very happy. It's a very difficult pitch and a very good opponent. The result is very good," Zidane is quoted by AS as saying.
"We started well, but then we backed off. And when we back off, we are not at ease. In the second half, we did well, pressing high and running.
"With the quality that we have up front we will cause problems for any opponent. In the opponent's half, we are better. The second half was spectacular. You have to give credit to the games played by Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez.
"We came back, which supposes that we have character and that we change games. We are together and when we do things together, it shows. And like that, it's difficult for our rivals. That's what happened in the second half."
Real, who now sit 17 points behind Barcelona in the table, return to action on Wednesday night with a La Liga trip to Leganes, the side that knocked them out of the Copa del Rey in January.
