Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Liverpool.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has previously shown an interest in Zielinski, only for the Polish international to spend the last 18 months of his career in Naples.
However, according to Calciomercato, Klopp has identified the 23-year-old as one of his main targets ahead of the start of next season, with Emre Can expected to leave for Juventus.
Liverpool are well stocked for central midfielders - while Naby Keita will arrive from RB Leipzig - but Klopp wants to add a player who has netted 13 goals in 81 outings in all competitions for the Serie A giants.
The report claims that Zielinski - whose contract does not expire until 2021 - would cost over £35m.
