Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has refused to commit his future to the Spanish champions.
The Frenchman, who is in his second spell in charge of Los Blancos, has just 18 months left to run on his current deal at the Bernabeu.
When questioned whether he was ready to pen a new contract, the former midfielder admitted that the Madrid job "takes a lot out of you" and was unable to commit to a long-term stay.
"It takes a lot out of you, but it's a great position here," Zidane told reporters. "I'm lucky enough to say I'm manager of Real Madrid and take advantage of every moment. I can't say a month, a year or four years. Life is just about the day to day.
"That's what I'm interested in: the day to day, to give everything I can, in every training session, every game. That's what I'm interested in. The rest? I don't know what's going to happen in one week. That's why we have to take advantage of the moment."
The 48-year-old, who represented Los Blancos as a player between 2001 and 2006, has won two La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns during his time in the Madrid dugout.
