Real Madrid moved three points clear at the top of the La Liga table with a routine 3-1 win over Las Palmas on Saturday.

Isco opened the scoring for the hosts in the fourth minute, before Cristiano Ronaldo made it 2-0 in the 14th minute.

Las Palmas had one back seven minutes before the break courtesy of Hernan, but Jese Rodriguez re-established Los Blancos' two-goal lead with a strike in the latter stages of the first period.

Here, Sports Mole has taken a closer look at how each player performed in Madrid.

REAL MADRID

Goal

Kiko Casilla: Was left exposed by his defence for the Las Palmas goal, but made a super save to deny Jonathan Viera in the first period and also kept out a curling Willian Jose effort in the second. (7/10)

Defence

Danilo: Caused Las Palmas a number of problems in the first period with his rampaging runs down the right, but he was more reserved after the break as Las Palmas played higher up the field. (7/10)

Nacho: Injuries to Pepe and Sergio Ramos have given the Spaniard plenty of football in recent weeks and he showed that he can be relied upon with another neat and tidy performance here. (7/10)

Raphael Varane: Did not put a foot wrong at the heart of the defence. Had a number of dangerous attackers to deal with and the Frenchman put in another mature performance for his team. (7/10)

Marcelo: Once again put in an excellent performance for the Spanish outfit. Set up Ronaldo's goal with a super cross from the left and never stopped darting forward during an all-action display in Madrid. (8/10)

Midfield

Toni Kroos: Simply did not give the ball away as he kept things simple in the middle of the park. Never looked to be under pressure when he received possession in tight areas. (7/10)

Luka Modric: Had a very comfortable first 45 minutes as he controlled the tempo from a central area, but the Croatian was substituted at the break following his recent injury problems. (7/10)

Casemiro: Becoming a key player for this Real Madrid outfit and he was once again impressive in this game. Set up Isco's opener with a super pass and put out fires all across the field. (8/10)

Attack

Isco: Has struggled to perform in a wide role this season, but that was not the case here. Opened the scoring with an excellent finish and continued to take up dangerous positions in the final third. (7/10)

Cristiano Ronaldo: Headed a Marcelo cross past Javi Varas to make it 2-0 in the 14th minute, but the 30-year-old really should have added at least two more in the second half of action. (7/10)

Jese Rodriguez: Man-of-the-match performance from the Spaniard, who caused a whole host of problems with his pace and movement. Scored Real's third with a super individual effort. (8/10)

Substitutes

Lucas Vasquez: Will have been disappointed not to have started, but was introduced for Modric at the interval and caused problems with his pace and directness in the final third. (7/10)

Marcos Llorente: Was given his first-team debut in the 80th minute and looked at home in the middle of the park. Will also hope to be involved in the Champions League next week. (6/10)

Borja Mayoral: Had a wonderful chance to register on his first-team debut in the latter stages, but could not beat Varas from close range after the goalkeeper had parried a Ronaldo effort. (6/10)

LAS PALMAS

Goal

Javi Varas: Did not cover himself in glory in the opening 15 minutes or so, but the goalkeeper made a number of excellent saves as the game went on. Frustrated Ronaldo in the second period. (7/10)

Defence

David Simon: Usually such a threat down the right for Las Palmas, but the full-back was too occupied with the threat of Ronaldo. Did a decent job against the 30-year-old for long spells. (6/10)

Aythami Artiles: As expected, the skipper was fully committed to the cause and picked up a booking late on following an all-action performance. Was aerially strong from crosses into his box. (6/10)

Pedro Bigas: Ultimately part of a defence that conceded three times, but the centre-back made a number of important clearances and was also strong in the tackle when needed. (7/10)

Javier Garrido: Had space to exploit when Danilo went forward, but the former Manchester City left-back did not venture forward on too many occasions. Steady performance, but that is about it. (6/10)

Midfield

Hernan: Picked up the game's first booking for a late challenge on Marcelo, but hit the back of the net for his side with a super header late in the first half. Was surprisingly replaced just past the hour. (7/10)

Roque Mesa: Was the player tasked with protecting his back four and that was a job that he performed to a good standard for long spells. Like a number of his teammates, however, had a shaky start. (6/10)

Vicente Gomez: Sat alongside Mesa in the middle of the park, but could not stop Real Madrid dictating the play in the early stages. Not much wrong from the 27-year-old as he kept the ball well. (6/10)

Attack

Nabil El Zhar: Was quite comfortably Las Palmas' best player in the first half as he caused problems in a wide area and although he faded in the second period, it was still a good performance. (7/10)

Willian Jose: Struggled to make his mark in a difficult first period, but brought a wonderful save from Casilla in the second after bending one towards the top corner. Was replaced late on. (6/10)

Jonathan Viera: Had Las Palmas' best chance in the first half after wriggling free inside the box, but could not beat Casilla from a tight angle. Was a little sloppy in possession after the break. (6/10)

Substitutes

Tana Dominguez: Replaced goal-scorer Hernan just past the hour in Madrid, but the lively midfielder could not make his mark in the final third. Full of energy, but no real end product. (6/10)

Nauzet Aleman: Has a decent scoring record from midfield for the Canary Islanders, but the 30-year-old did not have much service during his 20-minute appearance at the Bernabeu. (6/10)

Sergio Araujo: Came as a big surprise that the striker did not start and he was only given the final 10 minutes to make an impression. Squeezed a low attempt wide of the post late on. (6/10)
