:Headline: Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Villarreal:
Sports Mole rounds up all of Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash with Villarreal.
Sports Mole

Real Madrid will be praying for a miracle this weekend when they welcome Villarreal to the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano for the final round of matches in the 2020-21 La Liga season.

Zinedine Zidane's side kept their title hopes alive with a 1-0 success at Athletic Bilbao on Sunday evening, during which Nacho struck a 68th-minute winner for Los Blancos.

The two-horse title race between Real and Atletico Madrid is set to go right down to the wire, and Zidane's side must overcome Villarreal and hope that their rivals slip up against Real Valladolid to be crowned champions.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Eden Hazard

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Zidane confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Eden Hazard will miss out due to a minor injury - believed to be in his right thigh - and the attacker will now aim to hit peak fitness for this summer's Euros.

Toni Kroos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

Real Madrid revealed last week that Toni Kroos was self-isolating after coming into close contact with a COVID-positive individual. The midfielder has now tested positive and will not be available for the final weekend of the season.

Lucas Vazquez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Lucas Vazquez - whose Real Madrid deal expires next month - will miss the final game of the season with a knee injury and may have pulled on the white jersey for the final time.

Dani Carvajal

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Dani Carvajal's absence has also depleted Zidane's options on the right-hand side of defence, and the Spaniard will not return for Real before the start of the 2021-22 season.

Raphael Varane

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Abductor
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Villarreal)

Raphael Varane was not passed fit for the win over Athletic as he continues to nurse an abductor problem, and the Frenchman is fighting to be fit in time for the final day of the campaign.

Sergio Ramos

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: May 22 (vs. Villarreal)

Sergio Ramos's glittering stint with Real appears to be coming to an end, but the centre-back has now returned to training following a hamstring issue and could feature for what may be the final time in a Real Madrid shirt.

Ferland Mendy

Status: Out
Type of injury: Leg
Possible return date: Unknown

Ferland Mendy has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a troublesome leg issue, and he is facing a race against time to be fit for France's Euro 2020 campaign.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Real Madrid have no players suspended for the final day of the season.
