Real Madrid have beaten Sevilla 7-3 in a thoroughly entertaining encounter at Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga this evening.
Gareth Bale scored his first home brace with Karim Benzema adding two of his own.
Cristiano Ronaldo went one better and bagged a hat-trick for Carlo Ancelotti's side in a game that had almost everything.
Bale scored his first of the evening after 13 minutes when he curled home from inside the box following a sweeping move from Los Blancos.
The Welshman's second came via a deflection after he struck a free kick against the Sevilla wall, before Ronaldo added his first of the evening with a penalty.
Ivan Rakitic grabbed one back from the spot for the home side on 38 minutes to make it 3-1 before Carlos Bacca added a second for the visitors two minutes later.
However, with eight minutes of the second period played, Benzema struck to give Ancelotti's side breathing space, and Ronaldo added his second five minutes after that.
Rakitic scored a second of his own just after the hour mark to make it 5-3 on the evening, before Ronaldo looked to have killed the game with 20 minutes left.
However, Sevilla still carried the fight to their hosts and had another penalty four minutes later that Rakitic failed to convert.
Two minutes after the miss, Stephen M'Bia was shown a red card for a poor challenge on Luka Modric, before Benzema headed home Madrid's seventh, and the game's 10th goal.
