A solitary Karim Benzema goal has given Real Madrid a 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in a pre-season friendly.
The first half was an even affair in the opening 20 minutes, with both sides feeling each other out with some crisp passing.
However, in the 26th minute Real went ahead with a fine goal from Benzema. Mesut Ozil found the Frenchman on the edge of the box, and the striker clipped a first-time effort into the far corner.
Right at the end of the half PSG should have levelled when Ezequiel Lavezzi was presented with a glorious chance, but somehow he shot wide from point-blank range.
In the second half Cristiano Ronaldo met an Angel di Maria corner with a header, but Salvatore Sirigu was able to tip the ball over.
Real then came forward again on the counter, with Ronaldo finding Ozil but the German's effort went just wide of the post.
PSG were unable to produce the chance that would have got them level, which meant that Real saw out the game for a 1-0 win.
