A last-gasp goal has seen Espanyol earn a dramatic 2-2 draw at Real Madrid in tonight's La Liga clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Juan Angel Albin struck in the 88th minute for the visitors after Madrid had come from behind to lead.
The hosts were dominant in the opening half and they could have taken the lead when Luka Modric hit the woodwork on 29 minutes.
However, Espanyol struck against the run of play soon after as Sergio Garcia found the bottom corner following Joan Verdu's pass.
The away side looked good value for the half-time lead, but Cristiano Ronaldo tapped in Sami Khedira's cross from close range in first-half stoppage time to level the scores.
It took Madrid three minutes after the restart to get themselves in front as Fabio Coentrao showed great composure to slot in Ronaldo's pass.
They nearly extended their advantage before the hour through Alvaro Arbeloa and Mesut Ozil, but for the goalkeeping heroics of Kiko Casilla.
Espanyol refused to give up though and they snatched an equaliser with two minutes left on the clock as Albin was allowed to convert from close range.
