Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has demanded a meeting with Real Madrid due to their pursuit of Erling Braut Haaland, according to a report.
The Spanish outfit are one of many top European clubs that have been linked with the Borussia Dortmund forward, who has scored 16 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances this season.
However, that has raised alarm bells within current top goalscorer for the La Liga leaders, who has found the back of the net 17 times throughout his 21 league appearances.
According to Onze, Benzema has requested to speak with Florentino Perez next month to discuss his future amid the interest that Real Madrid have in signing Haaland.
The Frenchman is concerned that the desire to sign the Norwegian striker could lead to him being pushed out of the club, and a meeting is now set to discuss that issue.
There is a £67m release clause in Haaland's contract this summer, which is why a lot of top teams are hoping to persuade him to make the move away from Dortmund.
