Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that no players at the club have asked to leave Bernabeu during the January transfer window.

There has been speculation surrounding the futures of a number of players, with Dani Ceballos, Marco Asensio, Nacho and Mariano Diaz, who are all out of contract this summer, linked with exits.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard's place at the club is also being called into question, as the Belgium international continues to struggle for performances.

However, speaking ahead of Saturday's La Liga contest with Villarreal, Ancelotti said that he is not expecting any first-team players to depart during the winter window.

"Nobody has come into my office to talk about leaving this winter. Everyone is focused on what we have to do. We have a lot of games and the whole squad is going to be used," he told reporters.

Ancelotti also recently said that the club are not planning to make any additions in the January market.

"We won't be signing anyone because the squad is well constructed. In terms of exits, we don't know. Some of the players who play less might look to go somewhere where they'd play more. But, there won't be any incomings," revealed the Italian.

Real Madrid continue to be heavily linked with Jude Bellingham, though, and Los Blancos are thought to be the favourites to sign the Borussia Dortmund midfielder this summer.

Ancelotti was also asked about the England international during his press conference on Friday.

However, the 63-year-old refused to give anything away when it comes to the club's plans for the teenager, who is also being strongly linked with Liverpool and Manchester City.

"Bellingham has shown at the World Cup that he is a great midfielder, but so have others. Enzo Fernandez has played very well. Gavi and Pedri as well. Bellingham is one of those very good midfielders, but I'll stick with the ones we have," said Ancelotti.

The Real Madrid boss also commented on Real Madrid's upcoming schedule, which will see them take on Villarreal in La Liga on Saturday before facing Valencia in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup ahead of a possible final against Barcelona or Real Betis.

"We are used to playing every three days. The squad is pretty good after the World Cup and we have a tough game tomorrow but we're in good shape. We are confident of playing a good game," he added.

Real Madrid will enter the clash with Villarreal off the back of a 1-0 victory over Cacereno, which saw them advance to the last-16 stage of the Copa del Rey. body check tags ::
