The father of Santos striker Neymar has denied reports that his son has agreed a deal to join Barcelona.
Neymar has been heavily linked with a move to the European champions over the past week, as well as Real Madrid.
Despite conceding that a transfer to Barca would be "special", the player's father has insisted that no agreement has been reached.
"We have just renewed his contract until 2014. That is what has been decided," said Neymar senior. "The only agreement that exists is between him and Santos."
"[Barca and Madrid] are two great teams and Neymar would be proud to sign for either of them," he revealed.
"Barcelona would be a special option but there is no agreement."
Neymar has made 15 appearances for the Brazilian national team.
