Real Madrid have announced that Toni Kroos has signed a new contract until 2022.
The Germany international, who moved to the Bernabeu from Bayern Munich in 2014, was recently linked with both Manchester United and Manchester City.
However, the 26-year-old has opted to commit his future to the Spanish giants, who according to reports in Germany have bumped Kroos's wage bill up to €20m (£18m) per season before tax.
A statement from Madrid read: "Real Madrid CF and Toni Kroos have come to an agreement on a contract extension which will see the player linked to the club until June 30, 2022. Toni Kroos will speak to the media tomorrow in the press room of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium."
Kroos has won the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup during his time in Spain.
