Kylian Mbappe 'can leave Paris Saint-Germain for free in 2024'

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe could reportedly leave the club for free in 2024, with his current contract believed to be only two years.

Paris Saint-Germain could reportedly lose Kylian Mbappe for free in 2024 rather than 2025 as was previously thought.

The 23-year-old rejected a move to Real Madrid earlier in the summer to sign a new £650,000-a-week contract with the French champions.

Mbappe announced his new PSG deal was set to run for three years, with the forward holding up a 'Mbappe 2025' shirt alongside club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the Frenchman's contract only runs until 2024 with an option of an additional year, which will be decided by the player himself.

As a result of the two-year deal, Mbappe will enter the final year of his contract at the conclusion of the current season, which could force PSG into selling the forward or negotiating a new deal.

Mbappe, who has scored nine goals in seven appearances this season, is set to feature in PSG's Champions League meeting with Maccabi Haifa on Wednesday. body check tags ::
