Real Madrid have completed their first piece of transfer business of the summer by re-signing midfielder Casemiro from Porto.
The Brazil international spent the season on loan at the Portuguese club, with the option of making that move permanent inserted into his contract.
However, Madrid have confirmed that they have exercised the option to salvage federative rights of the player, ensuring that he will now remain in place at the Bernabeu.
Casemiro made 36 appearances for Porto last season, including both legs of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.
