Real Madrid have reportedly considered strengthening their midfield with Leicester City star N'Golo Kante.
The French international played a leading role in the Foxes' Premier League title triumph last season but a release clause in his contract has resulted in many of Europe's top sides registering an interest in his signature.
According to AS, that is currently the case with Real Madrid, with the reported fee of £25.5m being seen as an attractive figure given Kante's true value in the transfer market being much higher.
The same newspaper claims that Zinedine Zidane is a fan of the 25-year-old but is wary of stifling the development of Brazilian Casemiro.
Leicester are said to have offered Kante a new contract in a bid to keep him at the King Power Stadium for at least another 12 months.
