Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to integrate right-back Alvaro Odriozola into the first team for the 2022-23 campaign.
The 26-year-old, who signed from Real Sociedad in 2018 for around €30m (£25m), has featured only 43 times for Los Blancos and has been shipped out on loan to two different clubs.
Odriozola made only five appearances for Bayern Munich during a six-month loan deal in the second half of last season, but he has since been enjoying his temporary spell with Fiorentina this campaign, making 21 appearances across all competitions.
According to AS, Real Madrid have been impressed with his performances for the European-chasing Serie A outfit, and they have decided to bring the Spain international back to the club for the start of next season.
The report adds that Los Blancos plan to have both Odriozola and Dani Carvajal competing with each other for the right-back position.
Odriozola is under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until June 2024 and Fiorentina have no option or obligation to buy the defender in their loan agreement.
