Real Madrid could reportedly be forced to pay in excess of £100m for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz should they wish to bring the Spaniard to the Bernabeu.
The 23-year-old has starred for Napoli since arriving from Real Betis in the summer of 2018, and a number of Europe's biggest clubs are said to be interested in a swoop.
Barcelona and Manchester City have recently been linked with the central midfielder, while Madrid are said to view him a long-term replacement for the ageing Luka Modric.
Napoli were thought to value Ruiz in the region of £54m, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian giants are not prepared to sell for anything under £100m.
The Spaniard scored seven times in 40 appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's side last season, while he has managed one goal and one assist in 10 outings at the start of the 2019-20 campaign.
Los Blancos are also said to be desperate to secure a deal for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe, although Juventus are reportedly also in the race for the France international.
