Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva has claimed that he does not know if Neymar will join Real Madrid this summer but hopes that the world record signing will remain with the Ligue 1 club.
The 26-year-old has been in good form for PSG this season, scoring 28 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions.
However, multiple reports have linked Neymar with a return to La Liga just 12 months after moving from Barcelona in a £198m transfer.
"I don't know. I cannot speak for him," Silva told French outlet Canal Plus when asked about Neymar's future.
"We know that sometimes the press releases things that are not true. But also others that are true. I cannot say anything.
"I hope he stays with us, he still has a lot of things to do with us, and he has already helped us a lot, and thanks to him and the work we do together, we are even more famous."
PSG sit top of the Ligue 1 table by 12 points over second-placed Monaco and face Real in the last 16 of the Champions League.
