Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti has revealed that he is planning face-to-face talks with Mauro Icardi following speculation that the striker is wanted by a trio of La Liga heavyweights.
The 25-year-old is believed to be a target for Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid after netting another 15 goals in all competitions this term.
Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the Argentina international, who appears to be no closer to extending his contract beyond 2021.
Spalletti admits that it is important to clarify with Icardi if he intends to commit to Inter, telling DAZN: "I have not created any problems for Icardi.
"Issues need to be clarified, because when you leave things half-cocked, they become open to interpretation.
"People have said a few too many things, now there is time to sit down and talk about something we've avoided and dragged along with us for months."
Icardi has failed to score in his last seven Serie A matches for Inter - his longest scoreless drought since arriving from Sampdoria in 2013.
