Chelsea have reportedly been provided with a boost in their pursuit of Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi.
The Argentine has established himself as a key man at San Siro, with 117 goals having been scored in 200 appearances for the Italian giants.
The 25-year-old still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, but according to TYC Sports, the striker does not intend on penning fresh terms.
The report comes at a time when Icardi has just received a fine for missing training, and it seemingly leaves Chelsea in a strong position as they allegedly prepare to up their interest in the player.
Maurizio Sarri is keen to improve his side's fortunes in the final third, and Icardi is one of a number of names who have been suggested as a potential replacement for Alvaro Morata.
Icardi possesses a release clause of £100m in his contract.
